Job description
The Role:
As the Operations Controller, you will be responsible for analysing operational KPIs, addressing performance deviations and ensuring data quality. Additionally, you will prepare reports and presentations for management, support in budgeting and forecasting, develop operational dashboards and deliver training to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience:
Shop-floor Organisation: Demonstrated experience in optimising shop-floor layout and workflow for enhanced efficiency and productivity.
Machine Operator Interaction: Direct engagement with machine operators to understand production challenges and gather feedback for process improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Regular collaboration with various departments to streamline processes and ensure seamless coordination across the production line.
Material Flow Management: An understanding of material flow within a production environment, including procurement, inventory management and logistics optimisation.
Change Management: Proven track record in leading change management initiatives while minimising disruption and maximising employee engagement.
Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering.
2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting within a supply chain framework
Professional proficiency in English, with additional languages considered a plus.
Willingness to travel up to 10% if required.
Strong communication, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
