Job description

Responsibilities:

  • To provide comprehensive HR support and guidance to the management team on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with best HR practice and employment legislation.

  • To advise and support Managers in dealing with employee relations issues including, but not limited to, investigations, disciplinary, grievance, capability, flexible working, attendance management, and health and well-being issues.

  • To manage the full end to end recruitment process for various positions as required to attract the best talent.

  • To ensure contracts and right to work checks are completed following Company policies and procedures.

  • To manage sickness absence.

  • To assist with HR administrative support as required.

  • Any other duties relevant and related to the position.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Human Resources (HR), including knowledge of HR policies and labor and employment law.

  • Experience with HR Management, including handling employee relations.

  • Sound judgement, ethical decision-making, and integrity in all HR-related activities

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field

  • Professional HR certification (e.g., Level 5 CIPD) is preferred.

  • Experience and capability working with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience in a stand-alone HR role.

  • Previous experience completing annual monitoring reports.

  • Experience in the distribution industry is a plus.

Hours of Work

  • The contracted hours of work are 38 hours per week; however, you will be expected to work the hours deemed necessary to fulfil the job requirements. Hours as follows;

Mon - Thursday 8.30am to 5pm & Friday - 8.30am -4pm
