Job description
Responsibilities:
To provide comprehensive HR support and guidance to the management team on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with best HR practice and employment legislation.
To advise and support Managers in dealing with employee relations issues including, but not limited to, investigations, disciplinary, grievance, capability, flexible working, attendance management, and health and well-being issues.
To manage the full end to end recruitment process for various positions as required to attract the best talent.
To ensure contracts and right to work checks are completed following Company policies and procedures.
To manage sickness absence.
To assist with HR administrative support as required.
Any other duties relevant and related to the position.
Qualifications
Expertise in Human Resources (HR), including knowledge of HR policies and labor and employment law.
Experience with HR Management, including handling employee relations.
Sound judgement, ethical decision-making, and integrity in all HR-related activities
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees.
Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field
Professional HR certification (e.g., Level 5 CIPD) is preferred.
Experience and capability working with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Desirable Criteria
Previous experience in a stand-alone HR role.
Previous experience completing annual monitoring reports.
Experience in the distribution industry is a plus.
Hours of Work
The contracted hours of work are 38 hours per week; however, you will be expected to work the hours deemed necessary to fulfil the job requirements. Hours as follows;
Mon - Thursday 8.30am to 5pm & Friday - 8.30am -4pm
